Although I've been a full-time freelance copywriter since graduating from Stanford in 1988, I created Thousand Words Press to be a gateway for other words that matter.  In 2010, TWP released its first book, Nowhere Hair <<, and I began my blog, Poking Around Life <<.

 

I have lived and worked in Connecticut/NYC and Virginia/DC, but  the San Francisco Bay Area is my home of homes.  My heart is here, and so am I.

 

I drive an old German convertible sports car, because life is short.
